the expression of victimization and the color tone really make this one fun. lightning never ends good for someone when they are on what i see as the receiving end of a thunder bolt.
the story i see: when a young head strong warrior went to fight the warlord of a neighboring town it was advised that it was not the smartest thing to do and bravery is no substitute for intelligence. so when the battle never had a single clash of swords but the wielding of powerful magic from a mage standing beside the warlord the warrior know he was finished. the powerful lightning bolt left him alive but barely conscious. the look in his eyes were gone, a temporary blindness. he should hope a blindness from his ego as he now fully understands you don't fight a man such as the warlord on your own. so all the towns people he called cowards and spineless were now so much wiser and stronger than he first thought.
